Management Changes

We are delighted to announce two new significant changes to the Sertec Senior Management Team, with the new appointment of Julie Crombie, Group Purchasing Manager and the promotion of Jon Bramham, Group Programme Development Manager – with effect from Monday 25th September 2017.

Julie Crombie will have ultimate responsibility for our Purchasing department and Jon will head up our New Projects Development team, both housed at our HQ at Wincaster House in Coleshill.  The Board feel this is an essential move to help develop and progress the teams, whilst enhancing our services internally and externally.

Jon Bramham joined Sertec in 2015 as Group Purchasing Manager, bringing 12 years of procurement and supply chain experience.  Jon is an accomplished, reliable and proficient Manager with an outstanding track record in cost saving and business development.  Jon’s previous experience in Purchasing and materials will be a great strength for our Projects team.

Julie brings over 29 years of purchase experience to Sertec, with 22 years spent directly in the automotive arena.  Julie has recently held senior positions and was Head of Purchasing for 18 years in her previous role.  She has developed and implemented purchasing strategies to meet demanding customer requirements for quality, VFM and on time delivery and generated major savings from productivity improvements and lean manufacturing techniques.

On behalf of the Board we welcome Julie to the team and wish Jon good luck with his new role; we strongly believe these changes are necessary to help develop Sertec for our future.

We would like to welcome on board our 2017 cohort of Apprentices!

On 7th September our SLA team held an induction for all our new Apprentices.

The group will be undertaking Engineering Apprenticeships across a range of pathways, including Maintenance and Tool Making.

Over the next 4 years the group will gain invaluable experience working with the business and the college, preparing them for their long and prosperous careers within the Sertec Group.

An Apprenticeship is just the start, its a pathway for the young minds of today to learn, earn and to gain invaluable experience with highly qualified engineers.

To name a few people who have come through the ranks from starting out on the same Apprenticeship pathway – Richard Sadler is now SAST Plant Manager, Paul Millin is in Hungary working at our SASH Plant as Project Manager and Dave Steggles who is Sertec’s Group Managing Director.

With your hard work, dedication and passion you will succeed.
