Tool Design and Manufacture
At our dedicated tooling bases in China and Hungary, our highly experienced engineers, with decades of experience in the toolmaking and automotive industries, work in close partnership with our UK teams. The tooling manufacturing process begins when we send a suggested process design to our team in China. They meticulously refine and develop the process, after which it is rigorously critiqued by our UK experts. Through this feedback loop, we arrive at a final, agreed-upon process design before moving onto detailed tool design. This approach ensures that the foundation of components for our partners is sound from the very beginning.
Once tool designs are approved and deemed fit for manufacture, our trusted sub-suppliers manufacture the tooling to our precise process and design specifications. Our team then ensures that the finished tools meet the exact quality standards specified by our partners.
Ensuring the sustained performance of our production tooling is a critical part of our commitment to quality. Once a tool is in production, we follow systematic service intervals and a strict maintenance schedule tailored to that part. After a specific number of cycles, the machinery undergoes a thorough cleaning and maintenance routine. Should there be any drop in output standard, the tool is immediately sent to our tool room for investigation, ensuring any potential issues are addressed proactively to maintain flawless production.
