I am the Senior Commercial Manager at Sertec Group, with over 42 years of experience in Automotive Body Structures & Assemblies. I have been the key account Manager for our main customer for over 12 years and have secured new business across major new vehicle programs. I have a passion to learn about new ways of manufacturing to make the business more competitive.
I am a Senior Commercial Manager at Sertec, bringing over four decades of experience in automotive manufacturing. With a strong background in commercial strategy and supplier engagement, I play a key role in driving value through strategic partnerships and operational excellence. I am dedicated to fostering collaborative relationships that support innovation and long-term growth.
With nine years of experience at Sertec, I bring a strong background in cost estimating and extensive expertise in supporting the automotive manufacturing sector. My work has focused on Body in White structures (BIW) and Electric Vehicle (EV) commodities, including battery housings, busbars, and dielectric components. I currently lead EV commodity development across the UK and EU markets, specialising in developing engineering solutions that drive the viability of onshoring/localisation. Recently, I have also contributed to advancing a major non-automotive product for the retail sector.
The procurement team takes responsibility for ensuring that the business secures materials, goods and services in a manner that is value for money and provides fit for purpose solutions.
I am an experienced and proactive procurement leader with over a decade of experience working for OEMs, start-ups and tier 1 suppliers. I have been successful in delivering positive outcomes in relation to cost efficiencies, supplier partnerships, and operations resilience, and have repeatedly developed and empowered high performing teams whilst aligning procurement strategies to business goals in fast paced, quality driven environments.
I have more than a decade of experience across both direct and indirect procurement and have historically worked across operations, logistics and commercial giving me a rounded understanding of the supply chain. I bring a passion for building strong internal/external stakeholder relationships, problem solving and developing high performing teams.
The R&D team takes responsibility for developing our team, systems and processes to support the delivery of innovative, sustainable, advanced engineering solutions.
I have 34 years in the Automotive industry with a background in stamping and assembly engineering. Moving into Project & Programme Management in 2009, I have spent the last 8 years here at Sertec. I am proud to say I lead a small team to win and install the first EV products into Sertec, which has cemented our position as a Leading Supplier of EV components in the UK, elevating me into an advanced engineering role in R&D.
With over 30 years of operational experience, including 15 years in senior leadership, I bring a hands-on, results-driven approach to manufacturing excellence. From shop floor to strategic oversight, I’ve built a career on empowering teams, driving continuous improvement, and shaping the future of early careers talent. Passionate about people development and operational efficiency, I lead with purpose and a commitment to delivering sustainable performance.
Having joined the Sertec Aluminium Structures in November 2022, throughout my career with Sertec, I have had the privilege of working across all UK sites as well as internationally in Estonia and Hungary. With over 35 years of experience in the automotive supply base, I have worked closely with world class customers and gained a deep understanding of what it takes to consistently deliver excellence. For me, success in the industry has always come down to one thing: People.
I have more than 30 years of experience in the automotive industry in senior management positions, including four years in Germany. I have been working at Sertec Auto Structures Hungary since 2020 and am excited to be striving with the team towards operational excellence.
