Apprentices at ISME

Monday July 3rd, 2017

The ISME Skills Competition provides a great opportunity for young apprentices & trainee’s to measure their skills against others in the sheet metal and pressed metal industry every year.

The institute was formed over 60 years ago to promote the science of working and using sheet metal and to provide opportunities for people to exchange ideas and information.

We have had another successful year at the ISME competition for our Apprentices, our winners include:

Lewis Blakemore – Wall Vent Make Winner ‘Frank Cooper Award’

Matthew Murchington – Clasp Checking Fixture Winner

Austin Forletta – Clasp Test Piece Written Award Winner

Congratulations to all those that took part and a very well done to those that received an award – fantastic effort!
