CCT not only manufactures equipment for sale, but
the company undertakes contract cutting projects
for several manufacturers with a need for low to
medium volume trimming and cutting.
CCT frequently find solutions to customer problems where tooling and cutting
costs are prohibitive for low volume supplied parts.
Indeed, such contract work is frequently the only option available to customers
with 3 dimensional components where cutting by other means is impossible.
Cutting Application
Primarily designed in the early stages of development
to trim pressed parts, the technology has been
put to great use in many different ways.
Indeed, any industry which has a need to cut mild
or coated steel up to 6mm thick and stainless
steel or aluminium up to 4mm thick can be accommodated.
Whilst the automotive industry is the main beneficiary
of this technology to date, parts are also being
cut for customers in the agricultural, horticultural
and domestic appliance industries.
Furthermore, the technology is not limited to
the cutting of pressed parts. Tube and hydroformed
tube components present no problem to the Speedcut
2000. It is this ability to cut any three dimensional
part or assembly accurately, cleanly and quickly
that is creating a new way of thinking for design
engineers throughout the world. |
